Our Galileo thermometers combine art with science. They provide an accurate reading of current weather conditions. These beautiful works of art are available in many styles and sizes including our 9" Micro, 11" Ultra Slim, 11"/13"/15"/17" Slim Line and our 16"/18"/21"/24" Classic Line. Our Slim Line Thermometers are available with a Barometer and Hygrometer. Our Classic Line Thermometers are available with a Barometer, Hygrometer, as well as, a Clock. You can choose our standard glass base or upgrade to one of our many custom bases which include, 24kt Gold Base, Rosewood, Walnut, Marble, Pens and/or Clocks. These beautiful Thermometers are the result of a man named Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) who discovered that liquid changes in density as the temperature varies. The current temperature is indicated in these thermometers by the lowest "floating" sphere in the TOP grouping. The Barometer is used to predict oncoming weather patterns. The change in air pressure causes liguid in the side tube(barometer) to rise or fall. If the liquid in the tube rises, it indicates the oncoming of bad weather. If the liquid in the tube falls, it indicates fair weather. The Hygrometer indicates the humidity in the air. As you can see there are many styles and sizes available.
